For participants involved in extracurricular activities, advance notice is required to be eligible for a refund or account credit. Parents/guardians should inform the Recreation Coordinator as soon as schedules are available. The Recreation Coordinator will work with families to adjust schedules accordingly.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in forfeiture of refunds or credits.

Early Dismissal and Half Days

 Scheduled “No School” Days

The program does not operate on days when school is not in session, including institute days and holidays. Parents will be notified in advance of these dates. The Recreation Coordinator will also provide the Winfield School Calendar to all families via email at the start of the school year.

 Unscheduled School Closures

There will be no program available on days when school is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, water main breaks, heating failure, or electrical issues.

Scheduled Early Dismissal Days
After Care will not be available on days when the school is dismissed early. However, Before Care will still be offered on these days.

ePACT Information

What is ePACT Network?

The Winfield Park District utilizes ePACT Network, an online system to obtain emergency information for all day camp participants. ePACT will collect emergency information that is securely stored and accessible electronically. This system replaces paper emergency forms and allows park district staff to communicate with parents in the event of illness, injury, or information that needs to be distributed quickly, such as a change of camp site location due to weather.

How do you submit information to ePACT?

The parent/guardian listed as the main contact will receive an email after registering for camp with directions and a link to complete forms through ePACT Network. The ePACT information that is required includes: individuals authorized to pick up, emergency contacts, medical information, day camp waivers, etc. ePACT information must be completed prior to your camper’s first day. If not completed prior to your child first day of school, your child will not be able to attend. Complete all ePACT information on a laptop/tablet.
