Day Camps
Our summer camps offer fun, safe, and engaging experiences for children ages 3–14. Campers enjoy age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, outdoor play, swimming, weekly themes, and exciting field trips. From building social skills in our youngest campers to fostering independence and leadership in teens, each camp is designed to create lasting friendships, confidence, and unforgettable summer memories.
Registration begins March 1st. In-person registration begins March 2nd. Inclusion support request deadline is May 1, 2026.
General Camp Information
Payments
Payment plans are available. Payments are due 2 weeks prior to that week of camp. Payment due dates are listed on your registration receipt. Parents are responsible for making their own payments on CivicPlus.
Refund Policy
To ensure smooth and consistent experience for all families, the following guidelines apply to all summer camp schedule changes, refunds, and waitlist procedures.
Schedule Changes
Schedule changes cannot be made once the camp week has started. Any changes for the following week must be submitted to Becca by Thursday at 5:00 PM. No new registrations or additions will be accepted after Thursday at 5:00 PM prior to the start of the upcoming camp week.
Refunds & Credits
No refunds or credits will be issued once the camp week has begun. Refunds will not be issued after Thursday at 5:00 PM prior to the start of the upcoming camp week. If a participant is unable to attend due to a documented medical reason, a doctor's note must be provided before the end of that camp week to qualify for a credit or refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued for disciplinary or behavioral situations.
Waitlist Policy
The Winfield Park District will make every effort to accommodate participants on the waitlist by Wednesday at 5:00 PM prior to the start of the camp week.
Civic Plus
Please make sure everyone is signed up in our new CivicPlus Registration Portal. We will no longer be using the old RecPro Registration Program moving forward. If you need help creating an account, please call us at 630-653-3811. The CivicPlus website can be accessed through our Winfield Park District website.
Inclusion Services with WDSRA
Inclusion services are designed to provide the least restrictive environment while providing the maximum opportunity to participate in park district programs. To request inclusion support, please indicate that accommodations are needed on your registration form. THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST INCLUSION SUPPORT FOR SUMMER CAMPS WILL BE MAY 1, 2026 If your child is not registered for summer camp by May 1, 2026 WDSRA may not be able to secure necessary accommodations.

If families have multiple children in each camp, please only attend one day for parent meet and greet.
BEFORE & AFTER CARE
Do you need a little extra time in your day? Campers enrolled in Mighty Munchkins, Camp Summer Squad, Camp Winfield or Camp Tiny Tots can extend the fun with our Before and/ or After Care options! Before Care runs from 7am-9am. After Care runs from 4pm-6pm.
Be sure to register for each week your camper attends. For more details or to sign up, stop by the registration desk!

Camp Tiny Tots
(Ages 3-5)
Don't let summer break stop your preschooler from growing socially or mentally in a fun energized environment. Camp Tiny Tots is full of many fun activities including arts and crafts, games, storytelling, music, nature walks, water play and more. Camper must be fully toilet trained when camp begins.

Camp mighty munchkins
(Ages 5-7)
Get ready for a summer full of fun, friends, and adventure! Mighty Munchkins enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor play with exciting weekly themes, creative crafts, games, sports, and pool days. Each week brings something new to discover, including special Thursday field trips made just for our youngest campers! During swim trips, Mighty Munchkins will stay in the shallow end to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. It's the perfect way to make summer magical!

Camp summer squad
(Ages 7-10)
Get ready for a summer full of fun, friends, and adventure!
Summer Squad campers will enjoy plenty of outdoor play with exciting weekly themes, creative crafts, games, sports, and pool days. Each week offers something new to explore, including special Thursday field trips packed with excitement and discovery! During swim trips, all campers will complete a swim test and receive a wristbandred, yellow, or green based on their swim level. Campers are welcome to retest throughout the summer as their skills improve.

Camp winfield
(Ages 11-14)
Our Camp Winfield is designed specifically for pre-teens and young teens who are ready for new challenges, friendships, and adventures. Each week combines engaging activities, team-building experiences, and exciting field trips tailored to this age group. Campers will also take part in meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the summergiving back to the community while developing leadership and teamwork skills. Some field trips may extend beyond regular camp hours to allow for these service experiences or longer day adventures.
This camp offers the perfect balance of fun, responsibility, and growth. helping teens build confidence, independence, and lasting memories.
